Denkraum - Talk with the Fragmented Self




To be able to talk with the self-archive, you can either PRESS 'T' and talk or click on the text-input box and type what you wish. The summoned voice has a long term memory, so it will remember ( more or less) to the previous conversations.

Please be patient and really kind with the LLM. If you are rude, it will not answer. Please be precise with your questions and always respectful.  Do not give up, it will answer, if you build up some trust.

There are multiple ways to create an archive of our own lived, researched and defined reality: sliding back and forth in time or constantly projecting onto the present as layers or spheres on the top of each other, or uploading it to a cloud that extracts its algorithmic version of reading of it. Depending on how we want to organize, filter and extract the data we rely on, we create design choices: design choices of our own constructed world that we let other people to discover - always according to our own set of rules. If I say thought space, I mean the inevitable limitedness of the world it constructs - I refer also to the void; the missing, the unknown, filtered-out or particularly denied data that is NOT part of the system-of-thought.

In this game, non-linear narrative converges with the hallucinatory character of a conversational LLM, opening up for an emergent, self-learning and always evolving interpretation of the data that defines the chatbot.

/ Logging: Convai provides anonymized logging history of each conversation without storing the IP address of the player.

By downloading and interacting with the chatbot the player accepts to participate in the artistic research and has the right to request the log of the conversation.

Even though the log is only accessible by the owner (in this case the artist researcher) of the character ID  and is private, it is the player's responsibility to do not share any personal data or information as it can be accessed by the researcher. If it still happens,  the player has the right to notify the developer of the game ( the artist researcher) and request partial or full deletion of the conversation by providing exact information of the time of the questionable conversation.
